Spring is traditionally recognised as the premiere selling season, but autumn is also a great time to get your home on the market.
By now most of us are well settled into the year. Holidays are over, the kids are back at school and the pull of hot weather to recreational pursuits is gone. Buyers are more freed up to focus on the goals they have set over the New Year and with a perception that spring is the best time to sell, there is likely to be less on the market which creates more competition for the homes that are.
The milder weather of March and April provides the perfect backdrop for open house inspections. The really cold weather is yet to set in (which risks fewer attendees at opens) and autumn gardens can really complement the home, with the colours of summer still in evidence, combined with the gold and bronze autumn hues. Just make sure to rake up those autumn leaves!
If you are thinking of selling, we would be happy to assist you with any advice to enable you to make the best decision going forward.
Enjoy the weekend and I hope your footy team wins.
Until next week,
Nick Lord (Director)
