It’s been a busy few weeks here for our sales team as buyer demand continues to grow.
More parties are attending our opens (up to 15 in some instances) and our auction last
weekend in Newtown was a tightly fought contest between 4 bidders pushing the ultimate
sale price $150,000 over the reserve, which was the culmination of 4 weeks of successive
sales in Newtown – 3 from auctions and 1 private sale.
Demand for homes in the first home buyer bracket (up to $750,000) in well established
suburbs (Hamlyn Heights, Newcomb, Belmont etc) continues to see buyer numbers
out in force with days on market barely impacted by recent interest rate rises.
The Geelong region offers a lifestyle unrivalled by any other city in Victoria. For this reason
the property market remains buoyant as people continue to flock to the region from
Melbourne and beyond.
Our experienced team can help you with a market update of your home and will always
aim to exceed your expectations.
Until next week,
Nick Lord (Director)
