We hope as many Geelong residents as possible can get out this Sunday morning for the Run4Geelong 6km or 12km run or walk. Apart from being a great cause (raising much needed funds for the Barwon Health Foundation) it really is a great opportunity for the whole family, friends, sporting/community clubs or work colleagues to get out and enjoy a scenic walk through our lovely town and take in some of the scenery we don’t usually notice as we are rushing about our lives, usually in cars.
The event caters to everyone so you can challenge yourself with a run, take a more leisurely walk or participate with your child in the dedicated 1km children’s course.
It’s a great feeling being right amongst the sea of people all striving to improve the health outcomes for Geelong residents, not to mention providing a really fantastic spectacle.
