The Maxwell Collins team will be out in force this Sunday, pulling on our running shoes for the Run 4 Geelong event with proceeds going to the Barwon Health Foundation. It’s a vital community event for Geelong that makes an immediate, positive impact on our local health service and it will be a fun opportunity for the team to gather outside of regular office hours after so many months of the past 2 years working in isolation (happily not now though, we are back in the office).
Now more than ever, it’s important to strike a good work/life balance and encouraging healthy life choices and providing mental health support are two key ingredients of a productive workplace. These sorts of fundraising events provide a perfect framework towards these goals – to get out in the fresh air, get some exercise and encourage each other over the finish line.
It’s not too late to register. It’s a virtual event, so your run or walk over 1km, 5kms or 10kms can be done at your own pace and in your own time. For more details see the website https://run4geelong.com.au.
Until next week,
Nick Lord (Director)
