Giving back to the community is one of the cornerstones of our business here at Maxwell Collins. The Geelong community has supported us for 30 years and during those years we have embraced the opportunities that have come our way to give a helping hand when needed.
We support grass roots level football with major sponsorship of the Geelong West Giants; we contribute to annual events such as charity golf days, Relay for Life, Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea; our collaboration with Give Where You Live through event sponsorship and staff salary contributions spans decades; we provide funds to various Lions and Rotary Clubs throughout the region; our staff attend GenU’s regular volunteer days; our auctioneers freely give of their time to conduct charity auctions; we provide significant signage for many schools and churches throughout the year to support their events and fundraising activities and at Christmas we break out the Wishing Tree for Bethany Community Support to assist families in need over the festive season.
It is a privilege to live and work in this thriving city and we sometimes take for granted how fortunate we are. That’s why it’s so important to give back.
