According to recent media reports, the median price for a block of land in Geelong has now exceeded that of Melbourne for the first time.
Geelong’s median lot price for the March 2022 quarter was $377,000, up from $295,000 a year ago, compared to Melbourne’s March figure of $370.000.
This just proves what we already know and what we have seen over the past few years with many city dwellers making the move to regional Victoria, and in particular Geelong, for its lifestyle options and proximity to the beaches whilst still being within commuting distance of Melbourne.
Our land development at Ashbury in Armstrong Creek offers buyers an ideal location between Geelong and the Surf Coast and we will be releasing the next stage at Yaringa in Armstrong Creek within the next few weeks. For a more rural aspect, Stage 2 at The Precinct in Winchelsea has just been released.
