Geelong – A Great Place to Live

With winter behind us now we can’t help turn our thoughts to the warmer weather and the great advantages we have living here in Geelong.

Our beautiful waterfront at Eastern Beach comes alive over summer with groups of friends, couples, dog walkers and extended families getting out and enjoying the wonderful vistas across Corio Bay and the top notch range of quality restaurants and cafes in the immediate vicinity.

World class eateries are popping up all over town to appeal to the foodies amongst us, and a visit to Pakington Street or Lt Malop Street in particular will offer a wonderful dining experience.

Pristine beaches at Barwon Heads, Ocean Grove, Torquay and Anglesea are within a short 30 minute drive and over the coming months the calendar will be filling in these locations with cultural events, markets, festivals and music, with guaranteed appeal to a wide demographic of visitors.

One of the best things about Geelong is the ease of getting around.  Nowhere within Greater Geelong is more than a 15 or 20 minute drive away unlike Melbourne where 20 minutes may not get you even to the next suburb in peak hour.

We have a lot to be thankful for living in this great city.

Have a lovely weekend (and Go Cats!)

Until next week
