Our team really enjoyed conducting our first on site auction last Saturday after weeks of having to negotiate the technological challenges of online auctions. We achieved a fantastic result of $826,000, with 9 registered bidders attending and competition taking the price well over the vendor’s reserve at the fall of the hammer.
With the weather becoming mild and gardens in full bloom, now is a great time to sell. A shortage of homes for sale, combined with a continuing strong demand (particularly from first home buyers) has ensured that pricing in the Geelong region has remained steady.
We are still conducting a good number of private inspections (whilst open houses are off the cards) and expect those numbers to increase even further as some of our pending sale properties come onto the market in the coming weeks.
